Michelle invited me to have dinner for celebration of Jenny’s birthday. She planned to drive us to San Mateo to have the Little Sheep Hot Pot, a kind of Mongolian cuisine.

I wondered if this restaurant was the same as well as those in China. When we went into the restaurant, I saw the identification mark and smelled the familiar flavor; the memory of my homeland was call up immediately.

We ordered a double-flavored hotpot. It means the hotpot is divided into two hemicyclic parts by setting a steel plate in middle. one part is filled with consommé and the other is spicy. Therefore, It has another name “Red-white Pot”. The method to enjoy the Hot pot is pretty easy. Set the pot on a heating stove, and add some consommé in it(you can also add spicy seasoning to make it a red pot). When the soup boils, put the food materials in, and wait for boiling again. Then, Enjoy!

We ordered a lot of food materials, including the mutton, beef, shrimp ball, fish puree, mushroom combination and vegetables. We boiled the materials and ate ceaselessly. The taste was so great that I had myself overeat.

If I miss the hot pot, I will certainly come here and have a pleased eating.
