<p>Uncle Yiwei and me went to visit the flower street in China Town. What is the flower street? It’s a traditional festival that is one composition of Spring Festival – Chinese New Year.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie1.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="" border="0" alt="" src="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie1_thumb.jpg" width="244" height="196" /></a> </p>
<p>To support the festival, DPC (I don’t know what is DPC, like some kind of police) block several streets and direct traffic. Thank them for their efforts.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie2.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="" border="0" alt="" src="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie2_thumb.jpg" width="244" height="196" /></a></p>
<p>You can see that there are many people joining the Festival. But it is still not so crowded as in China.</p>
<p> <span id="more-325"></span>
<p><a href="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie3.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="" border="0" alt="" src="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie3_thumb.jpg" width="244" height="196" /></a> </p>
<p>We watch the “lion dance”, which is an ancient tradition show that tells about that the lion is believed to be able to dispel evil and bring good luck.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie4.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="" border="0" alt="" src="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie4_thumb.jpg" width="244" height="196" /></a> <a href="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie5.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="" border="0" alt="" src="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie5_thumb.jpg" width="244" height="196" /></a> Since it is called “the FLOWER street”, there are many flowers certainly. I just take a few photos.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie6.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="" border="0" alt="" src="http://www.gengchao.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/huajie6_thumb.jpg" width="244" height="196" /></a> In the end of visit, uncle Yiwei insists to offer me to lunch, for celebrating the Spring Festival in advance. He will go back China few days later, and I will miss him very much. ;(</p>
